STEP ONE
Book your call
Choose a time and date for an online consultation with one of our experienced pharmacy professionals. Appointments are available 6 days a week, so you can fit it around your schedule. This service is provided as part of an NHS Advanced Service for community pharmacy. This allows us to provide free oral contraception to UK residents who fall within the eligibility
STEP TWO
Your Appointment
The consultation with our pharmacist is free of charge and will take roughly 15 minutes. We will send you a link to the online consultation to join via your laptop, phone or tablet. You will speak to one of our experienced pharmacy professionals, who will ask about your lifestyle, medical history and preferences and will use their clinical experience to talk you through your options.
STEP THREE
Make your choice
Following your consultation with our experienced pharmacy professional, you will be able to make an informed decision, with support from us, on the right type of contraceptive pill for your body. If, for any reason, we are unable to make a supply, we will provide a same day GP or Sexual Health Clinic referral.
STEP FOUR
Receive your pill by post
Once approved by the pharmacist, our pharmacy team will process your prescription, do the necessary clinical and accuracy checks and then dispatch your pill to your home address with Royal Mail Tracked delivery. Most orders arrive within 1 to 3 working days. The contraceptive pill is free on the NHS.

Is the service confidential?

Yes. Your consultation is completely confidential and handled securely by our experienced pharmacy team. Your personal information is only used to provide safe and appropriate healthcare. We will only share the information regarding the consultation with your GP surgery, if you have provided us with consent.
What if the pharmacist decides my chosen pill isn't suitable?

Your safety always comes first. If your preferred contraceptive pill isn't suitable based on your consultation, our pharmacist will explain why and discuss alternative options that may be a better fit for your health and lifestyle. We can also provide same day referrals to GP or sexual health clinics.
Do I need to have used contraception before?

No. Whether you're considering contraception for the first time or looking to switch from your current method, our experienced pharmacy team are here to help. During your consultation, we'll discuss your health, lifestyle and preferences before agreeing the most suitable options for you.
What if I have questions after my consultation?

Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Absolutely, Your Pill is all about you, so fitting into your schedule is one of our priorities. You can change or cancel your booking anytime through the booking confirmation email.
